Reading this "young adult" series to fill in some background on the Marvin Bollitar series was an epic error. I finally finished this 3 rd and (thank god) final installment. The payoff was negligeable and the reading was excruciating. The book was 20% plot, 40% recap, and 40% teen angst. Never again. The plot was ridiculous and contrived and the details relating to the Myron series plots, while significant, were just an aside. Next time I will know better.
