Hopeless by Colleen Hoover

5.0

I stumbled upon this book because of I was kinda mesmerized by the ratings. It was 4.7s at that time. And it's just a great wow for me. How could a book got that ratings? Even great novels I've read aren't getting such a high ratings. Then I decided to read the book.

I enjoyed a great time reading this book, the narrative is flowing flawlessly. The writing is almost perfect and I love the style. However, at the beginning of this book, I want to give it up. This book is just too vulgar and too erotic for me. The scenes are all about kissing and embracing, and I find it kinda disturbing me. Is this why this book got that such ratings? But I insisted on reading, I want a new adventure by reading a book I didn't seem to like.

Time after time, I'm slowly getting to enjoy the romance. And it's a real sweet thing in life. And then clue after clue, the surprise came. And I really wanted to finish this damn awesome book in that moment, I didn't want to put it down.

The moral of the story is so deep and well-touching. Think deeply and wisely, be sober when acting. What you think other person is feeling is generally wrong, and it's unlikely be okay. Instead of grieving about the past, be grateful about what you have in the moment. Feel love. Sometimes ugly truth is far better for your feeling than a white lie. But what is once a lie, can be a truth if you look on all sides of it, the good and the bad. And always think mindfully, are you really concerning the bad sides of things so badly that they are completely ruining the good sides?

And I'm speechless, because this book is so beautiful.
