If i thought i cried a lot last book, this one easily beat that. Literally had to take so many breaks bc i knew each time i opened a chapter i would leave it sobbing. The first 35% were hard to get thru, and then i flew. The characterization of everyone in this series is exceptional. Gonna need to take a fluff break obv but excited to continue the series!
joey and aoife have such a deep love its wondrous. It saddens me that if I were in their position i dont know if i could handle it. So happy for the ending obv. Aoife at tommen w joe and everyone else! AJ!!! Even taidhg is coming into his own. Gibs ofc flourishes in humor. Tony and Trish are great parents. Idk how aoife got over it kinda w Kev like thats her backstabbing twin gossiping w her ex and then the whole school. I truly felt like i had been betrayed each time joey relapsed bc i believed him each time he was clean, i believed in him too blindly. And then to read his pov and be right there w him justifying his actions with his circumstances. Edel and John deserve everything good, they are what people and parents should aspire to be like. Anyways I hope joey thinks about joining rugby if only for some fun even tho ik he has familial responsibilities.
