YUUUUUUP that’s a slay of a book!!
I won’t lie it took a minute to get into just because the language and some sentences were more, I guess you could say, advanced, than what I usually read.
There was also some moments I felt would’ve hit a lot harder if I was a history buff because, since it’s such a short book, it didn’t waste much time on building settings and more so seemed to hope the reader would have some historical context already. I did horrible in history class growing up so I’m probs not the best person to read this but even with all that said I still felt I understood the message and emotions of the book.
Loooooved the premise of a war across space and time and I especially loved the concept of weaving braids. It makes sense if you read it. I love love LOVE when books have letters so huge slay there! Red and Blue both as characters were perfect I’d change nothing they are both so smart!!
Anyways go read this one though I suggest being in the mood for it, don’t force it.
