Ali Hazelwood never fails to write books I love! I went into this book a little unsure in comparison to her other books, considering this was her first into the paranormal but I loved it!

Misery is the daughter of a powerful vampyre, and after spending most of her life living amongst humans, she’s used to being an outcast. In the hopes of creating a peacekeeping alliance, Misery must marry Lowe, an Alpha Were. Thrown into a life she never expected, and the unexplainable disappearance of her best friend, Misery must learn to survive surrounded by enemies.

I loved Misery and Lowe! As individual characters, they were brilliant, and as a couple they were adorable. Ana was the cutest thing ever, honestly I loved her.

I had one minor annoyance in this book, and that was the weird sex scenes between Misery and Lowe, honestly, knotting was fucking cringey and weird and I’m going to leave it there.

Overall, Ali Hazelwood is one of my favourite authors and I loved this one!
