Rules of Civility
by Amor Towles
Very well written and really pulls you into the world of New York City in the late 1930s. I could very much relate to Kate in many ways. Falling for the wrong guy, her love for Agatha Christie novels, and a bit of the single sadness. It's a fabulous book dealing with reflecting back on life and how the experience of life changes you, but you don't realize it until you've been through it. Very Fitzgerald and Hemingway in the fact that there's such an excellent sense of place and capture of time.
