The Eight Mountains by Paolo Cognetti

4.0

I would give this book 3.5 stars if I could. While I found some parts slow, I liked the overall theme, and I did not find it too heavy-handed. I appreciated the notion that every person has to find the altitude that suits them, separating oneself from the expectations of one's parents. I look forward to further examination of this book in relationship to Martin Buber's "The Way of Humanity."
