Significantly better than Red Rising in terms of plot and pacing. It doesn’t waste your time with drawn out challenges or battles, but rather, focuses on Darrow’s struggles with his friendships, his loyalty, and morality— all while pushing the plot to a great climax.

It’s a corny action movie, but a very entertaining one. Very male focused as to be expected.
