The first third of the book was really hard for me to get through (months, i found it boring/didnt want to read it) but once the action starts its a hard book to put down. It was really intense. 

I didnt really care too much about anyone other than Dr Grant and the dinosaurs. Everyone does some good ironic monologuing before their time comes and that was also interesting to see
