A very intriguing, well written YA horror/thriller. Haunting from the very beginning, you're taken on a journey with the main character not only through self-discovery, but discovering that your past should sometimes stay that way. Some of the subject matter is difficult to read but the author does a good job of keeping you hooked and remaining sympathetic without becoming maudlin. There are plenty of plot twists, some more well executed than others, but this is a story I'll be thinking about for a long time.
