I read this book after reading other books by Roni Loren and unfortunately this one was as good (but it’s also one of her first).
I liked the fact that the main characters had issues to work on which gave them dimension but unfortunately the mystery and the main plot points were pushed aside for smut.
We didn’t get any conversation between the main character and her sister and also the rape and murder of the mother were not really explained properly.
Didn’t explain why the sister was kinda kidnapped in the time it took Brynn to get to her and where she was going to go before that. How she ended up where she did.
Also - would have liked a conversation between Raid and his uncle and aunt.
It’s like the plot was pushed aside for the smut and romance.
