The Things We Cannot Say
by Kelly Rimmer
Loved this book. Once again, it’s a book about WW2. The book is told through two viewpoints - Alice is a young mother of two children in today’s time whose grandmother is a WW2 survivor. But that is pretty much all Alice knows of her grandmother’s history. Alina is a young girl who tells the story of her family and their life in the countryside of Poland and how the war begins to tragically change all of their lives.
Once again this is a great story of love, family, strength and survival.
Highly recommend!
