4.5/5 stars. Trigger warning; self-harm, depression, anxiety, hallucinations etc. This book was really good! But wow. The mental illness and gay representation was amazing. The characters took the whole book to develop which I sort of loved, except Jack’s character seemed as though he didn’t develop much until the very last few pages, while August’s character developed more throughout the middle to end of the book. Anyways. The plot carried out very smoothly with a few bumps but not too many. I also only got lost while reading this a few times! This book is one that I for sure recommend to anyone that can handle reading books with strong themes.
