When They Call You a Terrorist: A Black Lives Matter Memoir by asha bandele, Patrisse Khan-Cullors

5.0

How do you review someone's life? This book is a powerful counter narrative on meritocracy and the ideas of equal opportunity. Patrisse's story cannot be read without the reader developing empathy and understanding. I encourage everyone to read this powerful book about life, leadership, community, loss, and love. I really encourage you to read it on audio, if possible, so you hear the story in Patrisse's own voice.
