I enjoyed the first 2/3, give and take. 3.5-3.8 stars for those two parts.
Then once Taliesin converts to christianity the story began to lose me as it started to feel a tad too preachy and somewhat dull in the end to me personally. I did enjoy the writing style and I would have given book 2 a shot despite not being thrilled with the last third. Unfortunately all books have now been removed from audible in my country and my library does not have them either so I guess I'll DNF the series entirely for that reason.
