A type of life led that needs to be told. This is a book with no plot, just moments of a woman living a solitary life in the city. Filled with the simple things; her routine coffee from the store, the warm sun on her skin, the unnamed neighbours she notices. In the end, things does happen to her routine solitude life that she needs to confront- change or remain static. There are chapters she talks about her origins and background, and with beautiful command in English prose from the author, made me read it in tears.
