Phantoms in the Brain: Probing the Mysteries of the Human Mind by V.S. Ramachandran, Oliver Sacks, Sandra Blakeslee

4.0

An excellent introduction to phantom limb syndrome and the other phantom conditions of neuroscience. This book started brilliantly but fell down a little towards the end, bringing itself from a five star to a four. Some of the religious overtones felt out of place, but they were undoubtedly important to the author. I would recommend this to anyone with a passion for medicine or neuroscience.
