I enjoyed Wildfire! Russ and Aurora are likeable characters, and I loved the dual first person POV.

Aurora and Russ both have issues with their parents. But whereas Aurora is an open book, Russ’ instinct is to hide his father’s addiction out of embarrassment.

After a one-night stand which leads to miscommunication between our main characters, they find themselves forced into close proximity.

Can Aurora and Russ open up to each other and realise that their parents’ flaws are not a direct reflection on them?

It’s an enjoyable and easy feel-good romance. I also loved that Aurora likes her romance novels and could relate to comments regarding these in the book 📖

Quotes:

“Women will look past every red flag for a man over six two”

“It’s why I like contemporary romance; I know where I stand… I don’t trust poetry. You think you’re reading about an intense love story but then you find out it’s actually about a shoe”

“It’s no secret that I love books… I’ve lived a thousand lives between a thousand pages, but no story, no life, no page has ever made me feel as happy as you do, Russ”
