First things first. I won an e copy.of this book from the publisher via goodreads giveaway. It in no way influences my decision.

Alright. So here's the thing. I may need to give this a second go..as I was reading through the book something in the back of my head kept thinking that this was reminding me of something I read before....about 60% in it's because I had started to read Timebound by the same author. Aha! Now it made sense. But I didnt finish that one. So I would want to go back again after reading that to see if that changes anything about this book

Next up. I really like this author's writing. I feel she does well writing the different characters POV. But my issue with this book between the time jumps and character POV changes, things got a bit confusing at times. What time period was i in? My preferred POV was Tysons story. Something about that storyline flowed better for me than Madi's. I also enjoyed the little news segments/stories that tried to help balance the two key characters.

Overall it wasnt a bad book. I feel like I'd want to go back again after finishing the book from the author that i started. But in also know there were portions that I did prefer more than others on this go around.
