Under the Sun, Moon, and Stars by Laura Kosann, Laura Kosann
4.0

It's a cute children's book, focusing on a girl who has a hard time after a difficult day at school. Wondering what she could be, a fairy whispers that she has had the power all along to be whatever she wants. Even a queen, that is? The little girl gets different advice from various creatures about what it takes to be a queen, but in the end she figures out that what she wants is to dream and go after the things she wants in life.

It's a beautifully illustrated book, and I think it'd be suitable for all children, not just girls. The message is fit for all. I mean, if a bee can be a queen bee, surely a little girl can be whatever she wants to be, right?

I received a free e-book copy of this book from the publisher via Net Galley. All thoughts expressed here are my own.
