I just wanted her to stop talking to the shitty guy the whole time T-T Perhaps it’s the way it’s being told as a retelling of past events, combined with the general lack of agency Native and mentally ill people face… but it felt like endless bad things were happening with no respite or takeaway. Just not a book I can take anything away from other than “god damn 😬).
