Remembering by Wendell Berry

5.0

“He feels his flesh enter into mind, mind into flesh”
Berry’s work is so philosophical without losing the concrete, the relatable, and the earthy. The man is a agricultural Aristotle. This book is fantastic. It slowed me down and I still need to piece some of the timeline together. This book had one or two cringy moments for me but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Andy is a very different character than most of the other Berry characters I’ve encountered. He’s on a journey that’s so existential and he’s seldom likable but his development is so beautiful to watch.
