I really enjoyed this book. The layout of the book was written as an oral history which was very interesting and captivating. I flew through the first half of the book and was hooked through most of the book. There was a point towards the middle of the book where I kind of felt like the plot slowed a bit too much, but I was generally on the edge of my seat throughout the book. I loved getting to see the different perspectives with everyone and their relationships and the author did an amazing job with writing this as an oral history.

I also enjoyed the time period being set in the late 60s to late 70s during the rise of rock and roll. The author painted the picture of that time period really well and I got a feel for what it was like during that time with the rise of rock bands. I was so immersed in the story and it was eye opening and heartbreaking as well as entertaining. I highly recommend this book and to check out the author’s other works (I have read Carrie Soto is Back and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo which I also recommend).
