This writing duo is always one of my favorites- the give me fast paced stories with the perfect combination of smutty deliciousness, character charisma, and emotional chemistry. And this Two Marks series has been my favorite from this dynamic duo- a series full of twists, a creative and fun take on the mating trope, and of course the burn your panties off sizzle that they always deliver.

What I’ve appreciated about this series is that while the architecture feels similar from book to book, each triad/throuple always feels inherently different, interesting in their own right. Here we have Holt and Decker, sheriff and special agent respectively, finding their mate behind the door when they’re making a house visit to a man they suspect of running a meth ring in their community and an enemy to their pack, a known wolf murderer. Turns out she’s his daughter- and she’s quite a match for these two alphas.

Ali as our heroine has a lot of sass and spark- I’ve really loved seeing the different personality types these two authors have brought to the women in this series. Of course, with the mating trope, we always have an instalove/instalust beginning, but my favorite part of these books is watching the men pursue and convince their (usually) human mates to dive into their throuple arrangement and watching them figure out how to let their wolves out of the proverbial cages. That really builds the chemistry and connection, and its load of fun- banter, sexy flirting, the inexplicable pull.

Outside of the romance, each book has an element of suspense and danger- and I love nothing more than solving a mystery and seeing two sexy alpha shifters tear the world apart to protect their mate. It makes for a fast paced and enticing read- and I just can’t get enough of this series!
