The Truth About Stacey by Ann M. Martin

4.0

I didn't have that much of an opinion of Stacey because I hadn't read any of her stories and I've already read 2 books after she leaves the BSC. She's a typical pretty girl who dresses nicely and all the boys drool all over her. I can't relate to her at all and her only issue is that's she diabetic. It's a medical condition but it's not a personality flaw. It was interesting to read from her perspective and learn more about her. The book focuses on how a rival babysitting club is stealing all their customers and rivaling their hours. It's run by disinterested high schoolers who end up smoking and ignoring the children on duty! It's nice when the series focuses on real issues instead of just petty fights within the club. It was a nice addition and I'd like to see if I can like Stacey more as I progress through the series.
