I think it was an absolutely mushy romantic sappy love story. But i read it in a time that I needed that. I didn't give it five stars because I thought that the ending didn't satisfy me. I wish that there would have been more after story between Beth and Lincoln, and I wish that the scene in the office wasn't so long, where they discussed everything. Beth followed Lincoln home, stalked him a bit, etc, and Lincoln read her emails. He was doing it because it was his job. It was still creepy as her stalking him, but it was his job. If I was in that position, I wouldn't apologise so much over it all.

Otherwise, for Rainbow's first book, it's fantastic. I've read Fangirl, and I wanted to read the rest of her books, so I thought I'd start out chronologically. I can see parts of Fangirl in it. Not the plotline, but her writing style starting to form into something a bit more bouncy and playful and unique.
