Desperately Seeking Roommate by Micalea Smeltzer

5.0

Before this book, I thought that Cole Anderson from Nice Guys Don't Win by @micaleasmeltzer was the ultimate book boyfriend. OOOF, no offense Cole, I think Abel Russo just stole your title.

This book was so well written and even covers body positivity and even a little body dysmorphia in such a beautiful light. Being a thicker girl my entire life, reading through Lou's eyes and having similar thoughts and feelings that she had.. it truly made my heart swell. Especially with how Mr. Abel just smashes ANY expectations and is just totally swoon worthy.

The story? Lou's landlord is upping her rent so she (like the title suggests), needs a roommate ASAP so she can afford to stay in her apartment. Abel's roommate and best friend had his girlfriend move in - and being a third wheel just ain't the business. SO, he moved in with his sister and her kids, but realizes he wants the quietness and freedom it doesn't offer. They had never met but attend the same university, AND he's a star football player for their school. This is such a rom-com with all of the feels and just completely made me swoon. Definitely finished this in under 6 hours. And it's available on Kindle Unlimited!!
