The other two Taylor Jenkins Reid books I've read have both been on audiobook and I wasn't sure how I'd enjoy the hardcopy format but this book was surprisingly excellent as her others have been. Normally I struggle with huge numbers of characters but the way this book introduces you to them and the world build within the story makes it easier to keep track of all the moving parts.
It's an emotive book hearing about the story of 4 children abandoned by their pop star father and their lives since but it has a sense of hope, love and joy that binds it all together. As we also learn early on how this book will end it's intriguing working out how we'll get to that final point.
