Warriors Graphic Novel: The Prophecies Begin #1 by Erin Hunter

I'm a Warriors fan, so unfortunately I can't separate it from the original book, so this review is basically a comparison.

A bunch of stuff from the second book was removed and honestly, I don't really care. The story clearly works fine without it.
Fireheart and Graystripe making up after their fallout was way too soon though, I'm fairly certain they were fighting for far longer. Same goes for the Graystripe/Silverstream romance, but that's out of focus in the original as well, so idk

One important plot element that happens in Fire and Ice, but doesn't happen in the graphic novel I'm worried about though, because this means that the next graphic novel will have to include all of the following plot elements in a relatively short book:
Cinderpaw is injured on the Thunderpath, becomes a medicine cat apprentice after losing hope of becoming a warrior, and becomes a full medicine cat in time for Yellowfang to die.
That's a lot of development that has to happen for a character that won't be in full focus.

However, none of that is technically the responsibility of this book, so I'm only going to add criticism to this review if it turns out that the next one fumbles this plot because it wasn't set in motion in this one. Maybe it'll end up fine or even better, who knows.

Other than that, the story is fine, the art is great, and the character designs are phenomenal. Definitely check it out if you're a Warriors fan, but you could still enjoy it if you've never read another book in this series.
