I absolutely loved this book! The idea of “obedience” gripped me right at the beginning, and as the story kept going more and more layers were added that made me unable to stop wondering what could be next. The mother, as evil as she may be, is grounded in enough realism that anyone who has dealt with a narcissistic loved one can relate.
