The writing was beautiful even having this be my second read of this novel. Getting the world building and understanding of political intrigue and imbalance in this world at the same time as Ophelia makes it a lot easier to interpret and connect with throughout and makes the journey of the book more enjoyable. I am excited to see how this book series continues and I want more of the supreme slowburn between Thorn and Ophelia. I also adore Ophelia with my whole heart.
