The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang

5.0

"This crusade to fix herself was ending right now. She wasn’t broken. She saw and interacted with the world in a different way, but that was her. She could change her actions, change her words, change her appearance, but she couldn’t change the root of herself. At her core, she would always be autistic. People called it a disorder, but it didn’t feel like one. To her, it was simply the way she was"
The Rosie Project meets The Wall of Winnipeg and Me (Kind of hahahahha but this book is SO SO SO MUCH MORE)

I have turned into an official mush of kilig and had gotten overstimulated with all the right things this book could offer within every chapter, every paragraph, every fcking sentence. The Kiss Quotient may be a heavily romance centered book but it doesn't stray from its core messages revolving in accepting our own identities, our family, and accepting love in its multi-faceted form. This was a humurous read and is written so well.
Spoiler There's too much sex but dangggg this is the kind of erotica I'd be willing to reread for a couple of times. It doesn't center on the sex alone, rather it distinguishes what "making love" really is from mere loveless sex.

THERE'S JUST SO MUCH PASSION AND LOVE AND OHMYGAHD I JUST HAVE TO THANK MY IMPULSIVE INSTINCTS FOR READING THIS.It's been so long since I've read another 5 star book and I just feel so overwhelmed with happiness. In the end, I just realized how much I badly need a Michael Larsen of my own too. *dreamy sigh*
