The prose in the book are well written, and there were definitely aspects of the book I liked. However, I really struggled with the heavy foreshadowing- it honestly just made me anxious. It also meant I anticipated most of the twists, so they were less impactful. Spoiler ** also a miss- communication and a 7 year time jump is not something I enjoy
