I haven’t read a romance in YEARS! this was my first emily henry book and I thoroughly enjoyed it! obviously, you know from the start how it will end - it’s simply the nature of a romcom. but, it’s nice that the characters are fleshed out (albeit still in a cheesy way) and I really really couldn’t resist charlie. I liked that it’s a self aware book and plays with the tropes, cognizant that it’s all one book trope anyway; it was well done though.
