The War I Finally Won
by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley
Perfect book for all ages
If i thought the first book in this series was good, this book was even better. Ada goes from have a club foot to walking to living with people who scared her to learning how to handle her anxiety to move onto a healthy path of trust and love in relationships. To have such healing take place during a time of horror in world war 2 is simply the most interesting way of thinking about how to look forward during horrible times of trouble and trials. I can't wait to introduce this book to my daughter when the time is right. It is a well written book for late elementary to middle school students. However, as an adult I definitely took away a lot from the book and would recommend it to anyone.
