I honestly really wanted to like this book. There were so many great reviews. But, it was a huge disaster. McFadden writes the tiniest chapters I’ve seen. Maybe she thinks this will make you want to read faster, but I found it annoying. So many of the chapters lacked substance. The book didn’t get interesting until almost 200 pages in, and by then I was finishing it just to finish it.
