Another Discworld short story. The Night Watch has a murder to solve and the causes of death are a) being beaten with at least one blunt instrument, b) being strangled with a string of sausages, and c) being savaged by at least two animals with sharp teeth.
Thankfully in the opening explanation, Terry Pratchett noted it’s best if the reader is familiar with old Punch and Judy shows, so I was able to do a bit of prior research.
The story itself was fine. Nothing amazing, but it’s always fun to see the Night Watch in action.
