Kameliowy Sklep Papierniczy
by Ito Ogawa
This book ... it's hard for me to say i dislike it, but i can't also tell you that I loved it.
The main character was as plain as celophane , besides couple of moments. I apreciated the moments where i could learn more about Japanese culture and the tricky parts of writing a leter ... or multiple. As i neared to the closure there was one thing in my mind: This book feels like a tour guide around Kamakura.
However when the time came for the ending I found the taste of both sweet and sour in my lips. The moments with QP and her father were so sweet and lovely it made my heart melt. On the other hand the final leter that Popo wrote to her sensei made me sob. I've learned the things that I always needed to hear but nobobdy told me.
