Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan

Definitely look at the trigger warnings before reading.

The first half of the book, maybe first 2/3 - I didn’t like. It was unexpectedly too triggering for me. Every repetitive mention of the pregnancy loss was too much for me and I don’t have a personal history with it.

I value the mental health aspect and working through therapy towards healing. The words were, at times, so beautifully written and the narration was amazing. The story of family life was realistically told and I loved the dynamics between the parents and the children. This is a wonderfully written tale, but not for me. But I’m glad it’s out there.

I paid for this audiobook.
