Warrior mice! In Medieval mice-world! What more can you ask for??
I didn't realize that this isn't the first in the series when I started it. (It has a "1" on the spine, but turns out it's a companion-type book). Definitely going to check out the main Mouse Guard books now!
This is instead a collection of tales set in the Mouse Guard world, each drawn by a different author, tied together by the narrative frame of a story-telling competition. I know some people dislike when art styles change a lot within a single comic, but I've always loved it! I really enjoy getting to sample different artists' styles.
