“I am staring at the place where the floor used to be. All I can think is how one minute the floor was there and now it’s not. How you could go through an entire day, every day, not thinking about the floor or the ground because you just assume it will always be there. Until it isn’t.”
I think this was a great book by Jennifer Niven. I can definitely see it being a 5-star experience for many readers. There are, in fact, very sex-obsessed teenaged girls out in the world and just because some of us have other pressing worries on the mind, doesn't make this teenaged character's priorities any less valid. It's the reality for some, and I was actually pleasantly surprised to read about a girl from this perspective in the YA category.
