This book was cute and I was really enjoying it at first, but I had a really hard time with the fact that Trey has a girlfriend for a majority of the book
(they don’t breakup until about the 90% mark).
Don’t get me wrong, his girlfriend is written to be an awful person, but I feel like we were just supposed to be okay with him treating her terribly and emotionally cheating on her with Ariel for over half the book just because his girlfriend is a “mean girl,” which just didn’t sit right with me.
