A Song for Quiet
by Cassandra Khaw
Deacon James’s only possession is his saxophone and his music. On the train after his father’s funeral, a song comes to him, a song like nothing he’s ever heard and reveals monstrosities in the world. A private investigator approaches him and tries to warn him of the danger of the song, that it could destroy the world. Now Deacon must decide if he wants to destroy the world and all the horrible people in it, or does he want to give it hope.
This was a wonderful little novella about music and changing the world and a little Lovecraftian horror thrown in.
