Music has always had a special place in my heart! There was even a time I wanted a job in the music industry. But the one thing I hated about the industry was all the big wigs caring more about money then the music or the artists. It’s a tough industry to be in, and still stay true to yourself.
So Ariel’s story hits my heart bad! Not only does the big wig not care about her, but said big wig is also her father. That’s even harder! In my opinion, her father does not deserve a redemption arc (spoiler alert, good thing it’s not his story lol), and he is everything I hate about the industry. But Ariel breaking free of it and finding herself is truly inspiring, & I could not get enough!
And then Eric, not selling out his values for fame is extraordinary. & his love for Ariel, & them spending most of the book fighting this fated romance is just ridiculous, and I could wait for them to be amazing together!
I just loved this book with all my heart! 💜💜💜
