De dag van de doden
by Nicci French
I’ve finally finished reading this latest of Frieda Klein series from Nicci French. I like how engaging the story is, but my review will be a biased one because I’m a fan of this duo. It’s really saddening me, knowing that this is the latest book which means I am saying goodbye to Frieda, Karlsson, Chloë, Josef, and all the main characters. The beginning has new names, including the names of the police, which made me ask myself whether i was really reading the latest series of it. The first appearing of Frieda Klein, who has been found by Lola Hayes at a burial place made me smile and thought,’finally! Frieda’s here!’
I must say that this book, as well as the previous ones, has interesting, breath taking plots. I kept guessing who’s going to die because the description said that one of them was going to die.
While it’s not everyone’s fav series, this series is in mine and I recommend to read.
