God I was in pieces at the end of this book. Such an INCREDIBLE story of a trans experience as well as the lengths we’ll go to for the people we love. I absolutely love the magic and the world building of this book and the way it ties every element together- the mystery, the romance, & yadriels identity. The characters were so good I absolutely love them to death. The ending is so incredible and poetic I feel like it represents the different paths people can take in response to exclusion, and the consequences associated with shunning someone for who they are which is incredibly sad; but there is so much growth at the end and really leaves you on such a positive inspiring note. This is a purchase all the editions, display, and reread kinda book. 10/10
