Yet another brilliant piece of historical fiction from Heather Morris.
Having just finished reading more complex literary works, this book felt a little plain in its style to begin with, but the story itself was compelling and eye opening to the horrors that occurred after WW2 finished.
If you’ve read others by Heather Morris, and this book is appealing, I’d also suggest reading ‘The Long Walk’ by Slavomir Rawicz, ‘Three Sisters’ by Heather M, and ‘The Nine’ by Gwen Strauss.
