Immaculate Deception by Nicole Fox
2.0
emotional tense medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

I feel like this book had so much potential, but just ended up being bad. The ENTIRE story could be over in 350 pages if the FMC had just talked and stopped hiding everything.

Also,
the fact that she’s sold for sex trafficking, her 2 day old baby is kidnapped by her lifelong best friend that double crossed her to be with her ex-mafia fiancé,and then she’s rescued from this sex trafficking and DOESNT I’m neutro to find her kid???? The way they NEVER discussed where the FMC KNEW where the baby was??? She knew who took him, and why. Therefore, had a pretty good idea where he was. And just never told her powerful baby daddy who could have done something? Just left him to go at it in the dark and have no leads on where his son is? It. Makes. No. Sense.

There are plenty of good Nicole Fox books, and this is not one of them. Her writing is great, which is why I gave this 2 stars. But I left book 1 very confused, and wanting to know how one woman could be so dumb.
