Our intrepid hero is himself an author and being the kind of author whose characters have a propensity towards crime, he likes to dabble in first hand research believing it makes the writing that much more authentic. With a steady diet of dope, whiskey and just general bad decision making he's wound up with more felonies then Trump and Hunter Biden combined. So now he needs to make some good money and his last book deal ain't gonna cover it.
A fast southern romp that reads like an R rated Dukes of Hazard with a weird meta twist. Overall not bad but not great either. Kinda like a Wal Mart version of Elmore Leonard. So if you're in the mood for something cheap and mass produced but still tasty this just may hit the sweet spot.
