The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires by Molly Harper

Did not finish book. Stopped at 41%.

I’m having a hard time connecting with the main character.  The emotional aspects seem…off.  I also wish there was a little more…I think it’s called world building.  If someone was interested in a slow mystery, this might, maybe, fit the bill.  Parts are interesting, but I’m not sure it’s enough to hook me to finish.
